Online Registration

The system is up and running as of December 17, 2008

First, you have to register with Experience as an employer. Listed below are the directions I sent out on how to do that. Once in Experience, you can then access our fair site and register there.

Directions for getting on Experience: We recently purchased new software from Experience, Inc. This will be our first opportunity to program and use this new software. Here is some important information to get you started:

1. You must first register with Experience as an employer. To do this:
   
   
   1. Enter the following URL into your computer: eaglecareers.erecruiting.com
   
   
   2. Select Michigan then Eastern Michigan University (if required)
   
   
   3. Register as a new employer (link is on the right side of the page). Make sure you click on the link “employers log in here”.
   
   
   4. Create a new account (new page). If you already have an account with Experience you may log on with your user name and password.
   
   
   5. Email address (new page). The computer is searching to see if you have already created an account.
   
   
   6. Complete the form (new page).
   
   
   7. Request access link (new page). Click the link. Our staff will then give you authorization to enter this system to post your job vacancies.
   
   
2. Return to the website listed in item 1-A and register online for our annual Teacher Job Fair scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2009.


3. You are strongly encouraged to pay by credit card when you register in order to reserve a booth. Districts that register online but do not pay by credit card will be placed in a virtual holding space. You will be moved out of this holding space when we receive your payment. In the meantime, any districts that register and pay by credit card will advance in front of you and secure a booth. When all booths are reserved we will close the fair’s online registration system. If you still are in the virtual holding space, you will be added to the “waiting list.”


4. Due to the increased number of districts that have contacted us, we will not offer semi-private interviews. Please plan on interviewing students at your booth (table).


5. Important: please print a copy of your registration just in case.

The Career Services website which lists and explains the job fair is: career.emich.edu (select news and events, teacher job fair and then the recruiter packet). You will notice that the actual prices for 4-6 recruiters is a little bit less than what we posted on the website.

Try to register right now. Please make sure when you get to the “subject code” question, that you hold down the control key to select all the code numbers you need.
